About Shane Morrow

My Story

Hey, I'm Shane Morrow, a professional audio mixing and mastering engineer from the PNW. Clients know me for my attention to detail, technical expertise, and collaborative and empathetic approach. Every artist I work with has a distinct sound and story, and my role is to help bring that vision to life.

My Philosophy

My passion and experience over the past ten years led me to open Morrow Mixing and Mastering, in which I work closely with clients from around the world to deliver quality projects while keeping their vision at the forefront. I never just receive a project and get to work; I communicate with and listen to my clients. I translate their goals, feedback, and abstract ideas into technical decisions that shape the final product and preserve the artist's intention. I believe this sets me apart from other remote mixing and mastering services; I'm not just your engineer, I'm your collaborator.

Beyond the Studio

Outside of the studio, I enjoy hiking through nature and taking long drives to new places with my wife, Eva, and our brindled pup, Artemis. Occasionally I'll play some video games with my brothers, practice my fly-fishing technique, hit up some concerts at The Knitting Factory and other local venues like ZOLA, and always try to get a new experience in.
